Daniel Mitchell practices in the area of intellectual property law as a patent litigator drawing from his prior experience as a former Patent Examiner and Patent Prosecution Attorney.
Mr. Mitchell, as a registered patent attorney, has prosecuted patents, both nationally and internationally, across various technology areas including the electrical and software arts. In addition, he has represented clients across an array of technologies including network security, telecommunications, and LED technologies in proceedings before the federal district courts and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Mr. Mitchell is a graduate of Georgia State College of Law and Georgia Institute of Technology where he majored in Electrical Engineering. Prior to law school Mr. Mitchell worked as Patent Examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in the technology center 2400 (network, multiplexing, cable, and security) for several years.
